چکیده

We conducted a Very Long Baseline Array (VLBA) observation of the low mass active galactic nucleus (AGN) in galaxy NGC 4293 ($z=0.003$). The object is associated with low-ionization nuclear emission-line region (LINER). Its black hole estimated as $\sim10^5$ or $\sim10^7 M_\odot$. VLBA 1.5 GHz image shows an inverse symmetric structure two discrete radio blobs separated by angular distance $\sim120$ mas, corresponding to $\sim7$ parsec. Furthermore, its integrated spectrum has turnover at frequency $\sim0.44$ GHz. Based on compactness and spectrum, source belongs sample (megahertz) peaked (PS/MPS) sources compact morphologies. 1.4 power only $\sim10^{20}\,\mathrm{W\,Hz^{-1}}$ observation, which consistent local AGNs but lower than current PS samples. One steep $\alpha=-0.62\pm0.08$ ($S_\nu\propto\nu^{+\alpha}$), while other one inverted $\alpha=0.32\pm0.10$. luminosity ratio 3.23 both show lateral-flowing structures where hotspots reside edge each lobe. This can be explained jet interactions dense circumnuclear medium. estimate through fundamental plane activity, constrains $\lesssim10^6 It supports that low-mass AGN potential candidate for accreting ejecting IMBHs.

X - ray Emission from the Prototypical LINER Galaxy NGC 1052

We examine the 0.1 to 10.0 keV X-ray spectrum of the bright nuclear LINER galaxy NGC 1052, one of two elliptical galaxies known to contain a luminous H 2 O maser. The observed 2.0 − 10.0 keV spectrum is unusually flat (photon index Γ ∼ 0.2) and best described as intrinsically power-law shaped nuclear flux that is either (1) attenuated by a complex absorber with ∼ 70% of the nuclear flux absorbe...

The low luminosity AGN in the LINER galaxy M81: BeppoSAX discovery of highly ionized gas

The LINER nucleus of the nearby spiral galaxy M81 was pointed by BeppoSAX, which caught it at the highest (2–10) keV flux level observed so far. The LECS, MECS and PDS data, extending over (0.1–100) keV, are used to investigate the physical similarities and differences between LINERs and AGNs. The continuum is well fitted by a power law of photon index Γ ∼ 1.84, modified by little absorption du...

HST Observations and Photoionization Modeling of the LINER Galaxy NGC

We present a study of available Hubble Space Telescope (HST) spectroscopic and imaging observations of the low ionization nuclear emission line region (LINER) galaxy NGC 1052. The WFPC2 imagery clearly differentiates extended nebular Hα emission from that of the compact core. Faint Object Spectrograph (FOS) observations provide a full set of optical and UV data (1200-6800Å). These spectral data...
